Queer Enough FI/ EN
Queer Enough on esitys kodin etsimisestä, yhteenkuuluvuudesta ja riittämättömyyden tunteesta maailmassa, joka jatkuvasti määrittelee millainen sinun pitäisi olla. Esitys pohjautuu todellisiin tarinoihin, haastatteluihin ja EU:n alueella elävien queer-pakolaisten ja -maahanmuuttajien kokemuksiin. Se tutkii millaista on uuden elämän rakentaminen silloin, kun kotiin palaaminen ei ole enää vaihtoehto. Henkilökohtaisen tarinankerronnan, huumorin ja elävän vuorovaikutuksen kautta esitys punoo yhteen queer-ihmisten tarinoita, heidän, joiden on täytynyt jättää kotinsa taakseen. Esitys kysyy, mitä tarvitaan, jotta voi tulla hyväksytyksi, tunnustetuksi – tai saada edes olla uudessa paikassa.
Queer Enough on näyttämöteos, joka yhdistää teatteria, videota ja drag-esitystä, ja tuo lavalle hetkiä kamppailusta, toivosta ja itsensä löytämisestä.

Queer Enough is a performance about finding home, belonging, and the struggle to be "enough" in a world that constantly defines who you should be. Based on real stories, interviews, and experiences of queer refugees and immigrants in the EU, it explores what it means to build a new life when returning home is no longer an option. Through personal storytelling, humor, and live interactions, the performance weaves together journeys of queer people who had to leave their homes behind, and questions what it takes to be accepted, recognized, or even just allowed to stay in a new place.
Queer Enough is a mix of theatre, video, and drag performance, bringing together moments of struggle, hope, and self-discovery.
